Tours may include:
Experience a fully guided tour of our farm, where innovation meets tradition. With ample opportunity to ask questions, you’ll gain a rare behind-the-scenes look at modern robotic dairying in action. Step quietly alongside the herd and observe as each cow calmly makes her own way to be milked, selecting her preferred robot and waiting patiently while the robotic arm collects her milk. Curious cows may wander over to greet you, while others relax in the “Moo-ty Salon” - our automated brush designed to massage their backs. Farmers Greg and Amy will walk you through the journey of our organic New Zealand dairy products - beginning in fertile soil and nutrient-rich pasture, and ending as the exceptional products enjoyed by families every day. Whether your interest lies in cutting-edge technology, animal breeding, environmental stewardship, or the highest standards of animal welfare, we are delighted to personalise the experience. You may wish to explore the differences between certified organic and conventional farming, or learn more about the potential benefits of A2 dairy products. Discover how we carefully manage the pasture and utilise the Grazeway and ABC paddock system to provide our cows with continuous access to fresh pasture, day and night, supporting both animal wellbeing and milk quality.
With a little luck, you may witness a Fonterra tanker collecting the milk, learn about what tests are taken as the milk is collected and and see our fully automated vat-washing system at work - another example of the precision behind modern dairying. Your visit also includes time to browse “Poppa’s Shed,” a character-filled workshop with restored vintage farm vehicles and machinery, many of which are still used on the farm. Poppa Brian volunteers his expertise restoring machinery for The Coach House Museum in Feilding - a destination we highly recommend adding to your itinerary.
We are also preparing to open The Milk Barn, where you will soon be able to purchase farm-fresh, gently pasteurised A2 organic milk from a self-service chilled dispensing machine. During your tour, enjoy a tasting of our delicious chilled milk - super fresh from our A2 cows, simply gently pasteurised at the lowest temperature, with no further processing.
