We are a family owned and operated certified organic dairy farm in the Manawatu, between Palmerston North and Feilding.

We introduced the robots to our Friesian cows in July 2016. Our clever, contented cows now walk to and from the milking shed voluntarily to milk themselves. Cows are creatures of habit and they choose their own milking time pattern, day or night. After milking they stroll, in their own time, to a fresh paddock.

Our stars of the book, Tinkly and Smoochy are both now 14 years old and enjoying retirement on our farm, however Smoochy loved cuddles and pats with visitors so much that she is back in the herd in 2025. Visit our farm and you may get to pat her.
