Would You Like To Visit Our Farm?

Thank you for showing us around.  It was very interesting for my students. All four of them are very inquisitive and I couldn't believe we spent almost 2 hours at the farm.  Greg did an amazing job explaining how everything worked.  S van Haren, St Peter's College, Palmerston North.

Thank you so much Amy and Greg (& Poppa & Granny Margaret) for a fantastic morning.  Everyone loved it and there is lots of interest at school in what great things you are doing at your organic, free range, robotic milking farm.   We had such a rich experience seeing the exciting animal and earth friendly initiatives whilst acknowledging the initiatives and developments in technology from the past (Poppa's shed and the Herringbone milking plant).  Jo McKinnon, Whakarongo School, Palmerston North.

We have just returned from another successful visit to your farm.  It was my second time and I learnt more things. I find it so fascinating.  Your bull is huge! A big thanks to Greg for his time.  I will be in touch later in the year as I would like to bring out our next group of summer interns.  M Sinclair, Fonterra Research and Development Centre.

I was sooo impressed with your farm and haven't stopped talking about it to everyone I meet.  I hope you get future visits from some of them! W Betteridge, Wellington

Thank you so much for the opportunity to visit your farm today. I was so impressed with your whole operation and philosophy about the dairy industry and how organics and robotics have worked for your family. Much appreciated Max Lutz, Otaki

Many thanks from all of us who visited you last Wednesday, it was a most interesting morning and you looked after us so well.  It certainly opened our eyes to New Age milking, I remember it took me half an hour to milk a cow by hand, not too often I'm glad to say! J Williamson, Milson Rebus, Palmerston North

Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to see your very innovative method of dairy farming.  Not only did our Perth visitors enjoy it but for our own members it was an eye opener.  I am sure our club would like to bring other visitors in the future.  Such contented cows.  May you have every success with your operation.  C van Mesdag-McGregor. Host coordinator, The Friendship Force of Manawatu (Perth exchange).

Very well run as a tourist experience and great for you as farmers.  G Green Perth.

Very interesting, well done for embracing new technology. L & C Allen Wanneroo, WA.

Absolutely fantastic system.  Thanks for having us!  Marshall family, Palmerston North.

Susan and I really enjoyed our tour of your milking operation - very impressive.  I sent an email and a video describing your system to some of my colleages at North Carolina State University. Also, we found Amy's book an interesting way to introduce the system.  Prof Larry King (Dept Crop & Soil Sciences, NCSU).

Thanks for the opportunity to visit the farm yesterday.  People were surprised at just how interesting it was!  Lots of photos will be in our monthly newsletter.  N Queree. Waikanae Central Probus Club

Our group were very positive about this experience.  I thank you for the exposure given and the fun they had on your farm.  My sincere gratitude to Greg for his time and experiences shared.  As we had a few officers who could not make it, we are planning a second visit and would like to book.  Executive Director, Melearn-Global
